(KMPH) – A terminally ill little girl in Fresno had her Christmas wish come true on Saturday.
Driven 2 Make Change, a childhood cancer awareness campaign, says 6-year-old Arianna may not make it through this holiday season.
Arianna learned she had a 6-9 month life expectancy after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in late June of 2020.
As her Christmas wish, Arianna wanted to meet Santa Claus and have a Christmas celebration with her family.
Teaming up with several local law enforcement agencies, Driven 2 Make Change turned Woodward Park into a Christmas Wonderland on Saturday night.
Arianna and her family arrived in a limousine to see a Fresno Fire Department truck decked out with lights, along with some familiar faces.
Santa Claus and a couple of his elves were waiting to greet Arianna and brought along some other surprises. Arianna was gifted a pink toy Jeep, with a couple of other presents.
Driven 2 Make Change says Arianna suffers from a brain tumor called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG.)
She has two younger sisters, ages 1 and 2.
